can’t. stop. swooning.

We created Lea and A.J.’s letterpress invitation suite for their wedding at the Deer Mountain Inn in upstate New York. For those not familiar, nestled in the Northern Catskill Mountains, the Deer Mountain Inn is an overwhelmingly stunning venue in Tannersville - if you’re looking for a romantic, whimsical woodland to say ‘I Do,’ you need not look any further.

I couldn’t have been more excited to dive in when Lea and A.J. came to me with a vision of meadow flowers and romance to match their ceremony location! We explored several different floral varieties and patterns in the beginning, but once Lea showed me a photo of their mountaintop spot, it got a lot easier to figure out the look we wanted. We took our time with a few more revisions to make sure every piece was exactly how they’d envisioned but soon enough we were good to go!

Lea and A.J.’s wedding invitations and weekend itineraries were my first time using four colors on the same side of a piece on press! I was SO pumped for the opportunity and as challenging as it was, I enjoyed every single minute of it. Naturally, I also learned a TON. We complemented these bold, four-color pieces with two-color rsvp cards and a two-color details card which really felt like a perfect balance. Each custom wedding suite was assembled and slid into a bright white half-moon pocket enclosure with a blind floral impression on the front. I could not get enough of them. I still can’t. I’m getting excited just typing this right now.

Argus and I were guests at the wedding and I seriously cannot put into words the overwhelming gratitude and happiness that I feel when walking into an event that I collaborated on. It’s a pinch-me moment over and over again. Even more though, the icing on the (wedding) cake if you will, is seeing the professional photos afterward. It’s an absolute dream to see my work captured so beautifully and I am so, so, sooooo excited and happy and grateful to share them with you! Enjoy!
